Optimum Performance through Training (OPT) was formed in the 1990’s delivering specialist investigatory interview training to law enforcement agencies. Since then OPT has been delivering a wider range of courses to other public and private sector organisations.

Training courses are co-ordinated and regularly lead by Chief Executive, Matthew Watson, a qualified teacher, who has worked with OPT since 2000.

The approach by OPT is a very professional one but friendly and flexible also, putting the clients needs first OPT will ensure the very highest standard of training to national occupational standards.

In order to fulfil the high standard required OPT provide trainers with at least 12 years experience of teaching and training that have key qualifications. Please click here to view the minimum qualifications all of our trainers hold.

Several of the team have areas in which they specialise, OPT will skills match their trainers to clients course requirements.
The team have been delivering courses regularly to law enforcement agencies as well as clients such as colleges, universities, private businesses and social services.

Appropriate handouts and materials are provided to all delegates. All course materials are already developed, though these can be tailored to meet your exact needs. In addition, further support can be offered to develop internal policies and procedures where these can support successful implementation.
